John Stein, aged 68 years died at 3 o’clock Wednesday at his home five miles northwest of town of cancer of the stomach. Being a spiritualist no funeral services will be held. Interment Sunday morning at 10 o’clock at Wesley. -- kbz

John Stein, aged 68 years, died Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at his home five miles northwest of town. He had been quite a sufferer from cancer of the stomach. The burial will occur at Wesley on Sunday at 11 a.m. There will be no services as Mr. Stein was a spiritualist. The deceased was a popular man in the community and greatly respected. His genial temperament and his good will for all made him popular with all.
